Authors Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit original and unpublished manuscripts to Evegenis Publications. Submissions should contribute significantly to the advancement of knowledge in the relevant field and must adhere to the following guidelines.

1. Scope & Types of Manuscripts

We accept the following types of manuscripts:

  • Original Research Articles
  • Review Papers
  • Case Studies
  • Technical Notes
  • Short Communications

Submissions must be original, not under consideration elsewhere, and free from plagiarism.

2. Manuscript Preparation

Language

  • Manuscripts must be written in clear and concise English.
  • Authors are responsible for grammar and language quality prior to submission.

File Format

  • Manuscripts should be submitted in MS Word (.doc or .docx) format.
  • PDF files are not accepted for initial submission.

3. Manuscript Structure

A typical manuscript should include the following sections (as applicable):

  1. Title of the Paper
  2. Author Name(s) and Affiliation(s)
  3. ORCID iD for each author (mandatory)
  4. Abstract
  5. Keywords (4–6 keywords)
  6. Introduction
  7. Literature Review (if applicable)
  8. Methodology
  9. Results and Discussion
  10. Conclusion
  11. Acknowledgment (optional)
  12. References (IEEE Style)

4. Author Details & ORCID iD (Mandatory)

Authors must provide:

  • Full name
  • Institutional affiliation
  • Email address
  • ORCID iD

ORCID iD ensures author identity accuracy, improves discoverability, and supports transparent academic records. Authors can register for free at https://orcid.org.

5. Abstract & Keywords

  • Abstract should be 150–250 words
  • It must briefly describe the objective, methodology, results, and conclusion
  • Avoid references, equations, and abbreviations in the abstract

6. Figures, Tables & Equations

  • Figures and tables should be clear, numbered consecutively, and cited in the text
  • Titles should appear below figures and above tables
  • Equations should be numbered sequentially on the right-hand side

7. Plagiarism Policy

  • All submissions are checked using plagiarism detection tools
  • Similarity index must be within acceptable academic limits
  • Manuscripts with excessive plagiarism will be rejected without review

8. Reference Style (IEEE Format – Mandatory)

All references must strictly follow the IEEE citation style.

In-Text Citations

  • References should be cited using numbers in square brackets, e.g. [1], [2], [3]
  • References must appear in the order they are cited in the text

9. Ethical Responsibilities

Authors must ensure:

  • Proper acknowledgment of all sources
  • Consent of all co-authors before submission
  • Disclosure of any conflict of interest
  • Compliance with ethical research standards

10. Review & Publication Process

  • Manuscripts undergo peer review by subject experts
  • Authors may be requested to revise their manuscript
  • Final acceptance depends on reviewer recommendations and editorial decision

11. Copyright & Open Access

  • Published articles are made available under Open Access
  • Authors retain copyright while granting publication rights to the publisher

By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that:

✔ The work is original
✔ It has not been published or submitted elsewhere
✔ All authors agree to the submission
✔ Ethical and referencing guidelines have been followed

AI Usage Policy

1. Permitted Use of AI Tools

Authors may use AI tools only as supportive aids, such as:

  • Language polishing and grammar correction
  • Improving clarity and readability of text
  • Formatting assistance
  • Reference management support

AI tools must not replace the intellectual contribution of the authors.

2. Prohibited Use of AI Tools

The following uses of AI tools are not permitted:

  • Generating original research ideas, hypotheses, or conclusions
  • Producing substantial portions of the manuscript content
  • Generating data, results, figures, tables, or experimental outcomes
  • Fabricating references or citations
  • Replacing critical analysis or scientific reasoning

The scientific responsibility lies entirely with the authors.

3. Disclosure Requirement

Authors must clearly disclose the use of AI tools in their manuscript.

A recommended disclosure statement is:

“Artificial intelligence tools were used for language editing and grammar refinement. The authors take full responsibility for the content of the manuscript.”

Failure to disclose AI usage may result in rejection or retraction of the article.

4. Authorship & Accountability

  • AI tools cannot be listed as authors or co-authors
  • Only human authors are accountable for the originality, accuracy, and ethical compliance of the work
  • Authors remain fully responsible for plagiarism, factual accuracy, and citation integrity

5. Data Integrity & Ethical Compliance

Authors must ensure that:

  • All data presented are original or properly cited
  • AI-generated or modified content does not introduce bias or misinformation
  • Research ethics, confidentiality, and intellectual property rights are respected

6. Plagiarism & AI Detection

  • Manuscripts may be screened using plagiarism and AI-detection tools
  • Excessive AI-generated content or manipulation may lead to rejection
  • Editorial decisions regarding AI misuse are final

7. Reviewer & Editorial Use of AI

Editors and reviewers may use AI tools only to assist with:

  • Language clarity
  • Similarity detection
  • Workflow efficiency

AI tools will not replace human editorial judgment.

8. Policy Updates

This AI policy may be updated periodically to reflect advancements in technology and publishing standards. Authors are advised to review the policy before submission.
